We have looked at the latest regulations related to the impact of climate risks on credit and risk assessments for mortgages and we want to share our findings. We also have a real-life example related to climate risks that we want to share.
A changing climate is affecting the risk profile of climate-related events in society, including through an increased frequency of extreme weather events. With geographical information, we can calculate where the risks are greatest and how these areas will be affected by events such as coastal and river flooding, torrential rain, fire and erosion.
