Metria Maps means Metria's API map service for the provision of maps in raster or vector format and search and retrieval of geographic objects, which gives the Customer access to certain Geodata Products.

Geodata Product means a selection of Lantmäteriet's basic geographic data and/or other Data Owner's geodata available in Metria's service.

Content

The customer has the opportunity to test and evaluate Metria Maps, which includes Geodata Products, during a two-week period.

Grant of right of use during the trial period

  • The customer receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the above-mentioned Geodata products during the evaluation period (test period).
  • The right to store Geodata Products in their own systems/on their own media within the EU/EEA during this period; however, a maximum of 40,000 map views per day,
  • The right to edit the spatial data product by adding your own information;
  • The right to edit the Geodata Product in terms of coordinate transformations;
  • Right to edit the spatial data product in terms of format and shape with certain exceptions (see below);
    -no right to convert raster data to vector form
  • Right to produce single analog prints/copies;
  • The Customer's right to use the Geodata Product expires at the end of the evaluation, after which the Geodata Product must be deleted from all storage media, e.g. servers, hard disks, networks, USB sticks, etc.
  • Metria Maps geodata products have been adapted to Metria e-Cartography. Metria e-cartography is protected as a Community design. This means that the Community Design Registration Office in Alicante, Spain, has granted Metria e-cartography protection in all 27 Member States of the EU. The map design is registered as a Community Design No 001549619 and may not be redistributed without Metria's permission.


Use for purposes other than those included in the evaluation requires an agreement to be signed with Metria.

For the test and evaluation period, Metria shall provide the following:

  • Login details to Metria Maps

Other information

  • Geodata products provided contain personal data.
  • The geodata products are made available under the license CC BY 4.0 and in accordance with Chapter 2, Section 3 of the Open Data Act.
  • Terms of use are, as far as information from the land register is concerned, set up in the light of the fact that Metria, according to § 6 FRL3, shall ensure that there is no undue intrusion into the personal integrity of the data subject or risks from a security point of view.
  • The terms of use are also set up in light of the fact that Metria is the data controller under the GDPR for the processing of personal data that the availability of the geodata products constitutes.
