Product description
Timeliness: 2009 to 2019
Delivery format: LAS, version 1.2 (Lidar )
The product is now complete and covers all of Sweden. The point cloud is a snapshot and there is no plan for updating.
Laser data is provided according to classification level 3, which includes classification of bridges, secured land classification of dams and improved separation between land and water. Each laser point is classified in one of the following classes:
1 Unclassified, points not classified in any of the other classes
2 Points on land
9 Ground-classified points within water surfaces
11 Points on bridges
All points that cannot be classified as land, bridge or water (e.g. building and vegetation) are coded as unclassified.
Laser data is not only used to show the elevation of the ground, but also to show information on vegetation.
