Since spring 2022, Metria is part of Spir Group, a Nordic group with around 400 employees in Norway and Sweden. Some of the highlights of Metria's operations were:

  • Launch of offering to the financial industry that combines real estate and business information with household energy performance, enabling better decision-making for the financial industry's sustainability-related investment and lending decisions.
  • Divested the business area Plan & Mรคt to Sweco, to create a strong strategic focus in geoinformation and digital solutions going forward.
  • Publication of the Geodata Report 2022-2023 with a focus on data analysis for sustainable societal development.
  • Many analyses in climate and environment were carried out, for example, Metria has mapped continuity forests on behalf of the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and physical objects in the coastal area on behalf of the Swedish Maritime Administration and water management. Within its framework agreement with the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB), Metria has conducted a national heat mapping based on remote sensing data. Metria has also provided support and analysis for government assignments of wetland restoration.
  • Launch of the next generation e-commerce platform.
